We use the PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE to describe habits.
Structure: Subject + infinitive + complement
Example: Michael Phelps swims 80,000 meters a week.
He trains for around five to six hours a day.
1. Work in groups of 4
2. Write a report describing healthy habits (Word document)
3. Choose a sport and describe the training and diet routine of a person who practices it.
(Find about famous sport people)
- Football (soccer) - Weighlifter
- American football - Runner
- Basketball - Gymnastics
4. Divide the group in two, two students will be in charge of the diet and two in charge of the training routine.
5. In the diet, you must include four meals with food and drinks (two sentences each):
a. breakfast
b. lunch
c. dinner
d. snack
6. Use the Food Pyramid to know what types of food are healthy
7. Describe his/her workout habits (4 different activities)
8. Use adverbs of frecuency (once a day, a week, two times, etc)
9. Include pictures
10. Use the links provided to get some ideas
