Product: Poster and oral presentation

1. Form groups of 4 students.

2. Choose one of the following Chilean traditional festivals and celebrations.

​

       - Tapati Rapa Nui                             - Cuasimodo

       - La Tirana Festival                           -  La Minga in Chiloé

       - Winter Festival (Magallanes)           -  We Tripantu (Mapuche New Year)

3. Use the resources to find the information that you need.

​

4. Find the following information about your festival or celebration.

​

       - History: origins (how, when, why it started.)

                       When it is celebrated nowadays.

                       Where it is celebrated nowadays.

       - Activities.

       - Food.

       - Outfits, costumes, special clothes.

4. Create a poster with the information found.

​

5. Include images and make it atractive (everything needs to be handwritten.)

​

6. Follow the example as a guide.

​

7. Present your work.

​

8. Look at the rubric to know how you are going to be evaluated.
